With A Love

Lest we fear him as a stranger to our life bound by mortality

Jesus reassures us by his wounds that he is no stranger to our human flesh
and it's suffering.

Let us never fear to approach him who seeks us out

with a love

which no power on earth can weaken or destroy.

Branches of palm

As the Lord entered the holy city, the children of the Hebrews proclaimed the resurrection of life. Waving their branches of palm, they cried: Hosanna in the highest. When the people heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, they went out to meet him waving their branches.

My palm branch from today.

Every palm Sunday I am filled with emotions of overwhelming
love and passion for Jesus Christ. I always think about if I were there that day
to welcome Him as King! ...I would cry out:
Thank you Jesus
Hosanna in the highest!

god our father, you sent your word, our lord jesus christ, to call all the scattered peoples into one members of your household, adopted sons and daughters in your son. as night falls, gather us safely under your roof, that we may rest in you and rise again to serve you in love, through the same christ our lord. amen.

The Light When Weak

O Father in Heaven
your name do I love
your will is my one desire
I ask that the light of your Son
Shine bright in this vessel of clay
that only Jesus would be seen
The true Light.

Lord you are my refuge and my strength
an ever- present help in distress
Therefore I will not fear

I know that when I am weak...you Father
are strong.
Amen.

The Missions in San Antonio, Texas

I use a lot of photos here on this site from a trip The Mister and I took to San Antonia, Texas.
We toured the Missions there. I heard about the murals the monks had painted many, many years ago, and being a muralist I wanted to see them!

As you can see, most of the mural has faded over time.

Another mural over a pathway.

Here I am next to a interesting shaped tree. I love trees!!
